LED Technology

LED Technology
LED Technology uses a light emitting diode (LED), which is a solid-state semiconductor device chip, to emit light by changing the energy levels in the diode. This shift in energy generates photons which are emitted as visible light.

The Manufacturer’s LED light sources do not contain harmful ultraviolet rays and infra-red heat radiation that damages illuminated objects under prolonged use, Unlike most fluorescent sources, LED light sources do not contain mercury that are mostly present in fluorescent tubes, which when disposed off, is an environmental health hazard. Moreover, conventional lightings flicker at high frequency during normal operation and low frequency near its end of life while solid-state lightings do not.

Other than the above benefits, LED lightings are:-

  • More energy-efficient than conventional lighting(in that more input energy is converted into useable light)
  • Much longer life spans than conventional lightings, some of which are many times longer.
  • Able to reduce cost of maintenance and replacement
  • Able to use less hardware accessories such as transformers are needed to operate with a network of 5 to 8 MR 16 LEDs and other VIOLED lamps and thereby helping to conserve our earth’s resources.
  • Able to be integrated with on-stream technologies such as renewable energy sources of solar power, wind-power and hydro-power instead of heavily dependent on our current technologies of burning fossil fuels and natural gases leading to global warming.
  • Environmentally friendly as the luminaries are recyclable.

Device Technology

Device Technology
The company produces a host of revolutionary energy-efficient lifestyle High Power LED lighting products that can offer viable alternatives to conventional and traditional lightings.

VIOLED specially designed luminaries come in different aluminum reflector forms that are easy to install and retrofit with existing light fittings. Our product ranges from 1 watt, 3 watts, 5 watts, 6 watts and 9 watts MR16LEDs that can directly replace halogen bulbs; 6 watts and 9 watts recessed wall and in-ground lights; 18 watts and 27 watts LED floodlights; 45 watts and 90 watts LED high and low beam ceiling lighting. The light outputs of these new generation lightings are comparable with those of conventional lightings.

VIOLED’s specially designed modular luminaries are unique, easy to use and affordable; and can be easily adapted and installed in combinations and in forms with the many existing fittings available in the markets.

In collaboration with M&E services, VIOLED’s LED products are currently being installed in hospitals for the benefits of patients and staffs; and museums for illumination of displayed objects and artifacts besides installation in commercial and residential buildings.
